     The Non Vintage (NV) Collection
     The Vintage (V) Collection

    The Vintage (V) Collection

This category of Graham Beck Cap Classiques is an expression of the very best selection of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from that specific year to authentically reflect the Vintage portfolio. In the Blanc de Blancs the best expression of Chardonnay is considered, while the unique character of the Rosé takes its specific fingerprint from the luscious Pinot Noir fruit which is its foundation varietal. The Brut Zero is only produced in exceptional vintages when we are permitted by Mother Nature to give expression to the extended lees contact required to compensate for the lack of dosage.

Graham Beck Brut Blanc de Blancs V (Vintage)
A delicious Cap Classique created with 100% Chardonnay. Only the cuvée juice (premium juice = first 500 litres per ton) is selected for fermentation. Of the cuvée, 50% is fermented in specific Piece Champenoise 205 litre barrels to ensure richness and extra dimension of flavour and a creamy texture.
The final blended base wine is then bottled for the second fermentation with yeast contact of at least 36 months before disgorgement. On the nose expect rich creamy aromas with hints of fresh lime fruit, complemented by an exhilarating, yet fine, mousse and an explosion of tangerine flavours. Great brioche and yeast complexity broadens the palate leading to a long elegant finish.

  • Graham Beck Brut Rosé V (Vintage)
A delicious medley of +/-80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. The former contributes complexity and length of flavour while the latter imparts elegance and fruit intensity.

This delectable MCC is a unique first for South Africa in that the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were pressed together. The Brut Rosé Vintage spends a minimum of 36 months on the lees before disgorgement. The superb salmon pink colour makes for an extremely attractive wine. On the nose you will detect distinctive ripe strawberries from the Pinot Noir with a creamy complexity from the Chardonnay. An explosion of raspberry fruit effortlessly intermingles with hints of fresh sherbet on the palate and a long fine creamy mousse rounds off this delightful experience.

    Graham Beck Brut Zero (Vintage)
Brut Zero represents the ultimate transparency in premium Méthode Cap Classique. This extra special cuvée was created without the use of dosage. With no added sugar, what remains is a sparkling wine in its purist form; unadorned and natural. This style of wine can only be made in truly exceptional vintages.

The Brut Zero, an exceptional and highly exclusive blend of predominantly Chardonnay with a hint of Pinot Noir is elegant, fresh and lively a study in rich minerality. Fresh green apples and hints of brioche, citrus and barely perceptible iris perfume develop on the mid-palate as the wine is left to stand. Virtually sugar free, the natural salt affinity of this zero-dosage wine makes it the ideal partner to crustacean dishes and sushi.
